I couldn't have listened to a more fitting song. It almost seems like the perfect soundtrack to tell the incredible experience of a month in Miami with Nico, my boyfriend 🥰
But before we dive into this story, we need to take a step back in time. When Nico asked me to go with him to Miami for a month, I said yes faster than a makeup lover would grab the latest lipstick on sale. The 2024 was a year of ups and downs, and I felt the need to switch off from the daily routine b> to find new sources of inspiration.
So here I am, ready to share the fruit of this adventure with you 🌸
Being passionate about travel and beauty, the idea of exploring a new city excited me more than a makeup bag full of new makeup products probably.
Mmm...no maybe I'm exaggerating, but let's say yes. We're pretty damn close.
This does not mean that traveling has always been a source of growth and discovery for me. On our drive to Key West, for example, I noticed a towering Australian pine growing on the old 7-mile bridge. This tree, nicknamed Fred, has become a symbol of perseverance and resilience for Floridians after the devastating events of Hurricane Irma.
Somehow, I identified with it. Running a business has taught me the importance of patience and adaptability.
Every day is a new challenge and an entrepreneur must be ready to adapt and react to changes .
This car ride reminded me how critical it is to stay calm under pressure and face challenges with determination.
And what about Miami? It totally won me over. The city welcomed me with its explosive mix of cultures, delicious food and a atmosphere that makes you feel more alive than ever. Every moment spent exploring the museums, restaurants, or simply walking along the coast made me feel like I was on the set of a Hollywood romantic comedy.
As St. Augustineonce said, “The world is a book and he who does not travel reads only a page.” Every trip is an opportunity to learn and grow. Whether it's finding yourself in a crowded market in Marrakech, hiking the trails of the Dolomites or exploring the ancient ruins of Rome, traveling fosters a spirit of curiosityand openness . And it challenges me to step out of my comfort zone, to adapt to unfamiliar environments, to connect with people from different backgrounds.
And believe me, after this adventure, I added a lot of new pages to my book of life ☀️
Every encounter, every situation was an opportunity to laugh, learn and live to the fullest.
